Mohammad Atif Iftikhar

Atif is a former UAE National Player who had represented UAE in couple of ICC Trophies World Cup qualifiers, ACC trophies to qualify for Asia Cups, List A matches against Sri Lanka A, Pakistan A, and England A. He had also represented UAE National team against Sri Lankan National team match in 2004.

Atif is a Level 2 Certified Cricket Coach from Pakistan Cricket Board and Australian Cricket Board. He holds vast experience of over 10 years of Cricket coaching in different circuits.

He was appointed as a development coach at ICC Cricket Academy Dubai and was Assistant to Pakistani Test Cricketer Mudassar Nazar for 6 years.

Post his tenure with ICC Academy he was appointed Head Coach of MS Dhoni Cricket Academy Dubai which was owned by the former Indian Captain MS Dhoni himself. He had performed his services there for 2 years before he moved to Canada.

During his course of coaching in Dubai many young cricketers were developed who have represented UAE Under 19 and the UAE national team squads. Many of his students are currently playing cricket in UK, Australia, Pakistan and India.

In Canada, Atif had worked with TDSB schools to promote and develop cricket before being appointed as Head Coach of Canadian College Cricket. He had played a major role in developing Women College Cricket in Universities and Colleges by running group sessions and workshops in different colleges.

With his knowledge and experience currently, he is focused on nurturing and developing the Academy’s Under 14, Under 16 and the Elite teams with group sessions and individual trainings.
